Hi there. I'm new to the forum. Checked a few threads & found that you have so many well-informed thinkers here.

For a start I want you guys to rate my portfolio:

L&T - 50
RIL - 10
Colgate - 10
Cals - 22000

I had initially started with an investment of 85k in a few scrips during March09, without being aware of the situation then. The markets bounced back & I was rewarded a return of about 60%. But recently I've had my big losses as well (with Bharti Airtel). Personally I feel its best to go longterm from now & I'm left with the above ones. The period would be 3 years. What do you say?

You can ignore Cals if you want to. I'm just placing a bet on that. :D

DKSV,
Apart from CALS all other 3 are good. Why Bharti is not
reflected in your portfolio?.You said you had a set back
in Bharti.I think CALS is reaching HIGHs everday ,try to
prune it and diversify into other stocks.

hey thanks for the reply columbus :)

sad that i had to sell Bharti 2 weeks back when i lost more than 10k on a single day. again i wasn't aware that a long due correction was awaiting Bharti. To be honest i wasn't caring much about the market trends before (when i was actually trading). Now i take more care but i'm thinking to go long instead.

& yes. I'll get rid of Cals as soon as i recover the losses I had from Bharti.
thanks again :)

There are TWO stocks by name CALS: CalsRefinery and CalsSoft.
The first one is listed on BSE and the second is a NSE stock.
I track ONLY NSE stocks. My comments on CALS are pertaining
to CalsSoft only.
