bharti telecom

Any views or suggestions on the per second billing and the slide in bharti share values. How would it affect valuations and what would be the target price.

Even after TRAI clarified saying 'per second billing is option", why bharti airtel failing continuously?
It has fallen from 420+ levels to 325. is it oversold now?

Vijay

Point is with per second billing whole fundamental of companies change....theyll bleed more...

Earlier for 10 second also they used to charge 90 paise more.......if they practice this for 10 million customer out of its 110million base daily u see how much profit they earn...

Now the whole fundamental will change..so now telecom is not so hot sector....btw u should see at rcom rather than bharti as its not the leader but more negative news pulling it much down but i guess theyll still magane to get new customer base...whereas bharti is like in saturation level....cant even handle tower traffic(i am an airtel customer will jump to reliance once portability arrives)

Its still a hot sector as 3G auction is awaiting. with 3g they can put more and more service
like broadband through cell, video calling, IPTV, and lot more value added services.
also access to rural areas where 2G is not accessible. 3G can handle even more traffic which solve tower traffic problem. but we have to wait till dec or may be even more.

DOnt expect magic from 3G as the base auction price has almost been double from earlier consideration becoz of which except 2-3 companies....other have refuse to participate.....It will be too expensive and only niche crowd (which might be hardly 5-10 million of airtel customers ready to go for it.......

Wont do jolly but ya will bring +ive sentiment to increase price
