U shd keep a target and sell at that level even though u want more price or atleast increase your price 2-5% than your target so atleast if it reaches that u sell it...

The word 'highest' seems very good when looked at the past
But he would never know at that time when it reached 46 that it would not go above 46
For eg, bank of rajasthan went from 60 to 80 and now at around 76
So how would you decide at what price you would sell it? and what if after one month it goes up to 110?

My point was to keep a target

Say suppose i buy share X for 35 ....and sets 40% return...means to sell it 50 buks
Now that target will be same say 50 if price are till 46.....but once it reaches close to your target(say 47-48)...u shd get a bit greedy and increase your target to 52-53.....but not too much....suppose share gets sold at 52.....u shdnt cry when it goes 75..saying i sold it early..atleast u get 2 buks more than your target....
Also if it doesnt sell say it reached 51...u can furthur increase target to 55 and so on.....But that doesnt mean once it reaches close u keep high expectation of furthur 20-50%(from that level)

I see ppl keep a target of 50...but never put that and once it crosses they target directly becomes to much greedy and expect 75 directly......and u always remain in waiting game and the shares fall from 55 to 35..and than ask for advice
