Srini – Good to have you on board again. Things going good here. Markets back in the green with little bit of correction – a short but steep one.
How is life in London? Any plans of visiting India in the near term?
BTW ITL has hit an upper circuit at 36.4 – hopefully you did not make that happen .
My updates on the net are very slow now – delayed by almost 15 min (don’t have access to icicidirect from here).

Narendra – I made a spelling mistake in that one – I meant ‘Heard on the Streets’ – that’s call from market sources what we usually refer to as street calls

Thanks and Regards
Supratik

I am really surprised!
Today ITL Ind has gone up by nearly 20%!!
So, did you buy it?

Can you please elaborate on this "Heard on the Streets" funda? Who is giving this call and is it always like this......share price shoots up!
If that is so, we can buy everytime.

Please do give more such tips/calls.

Regards,
Narendra

(Story from a blogspot - you may verify this one)
For Financial 06, Lok Housing reported Revenues of Rs 87 crore with after tax profits of Rs 23 crore, which on a pre-merger Equity of Rs 11.3 crore works out to Rs 21 per share. In the first half of FY07 Lok Housing has reported Revenues of Rs 135 crore, with after tax profits of Rs 52 crore.

My view is that when we think of averaging out, it is at a priceband of atleast 25-30& lower than our purchase price (that is what I follow). You may hold a different view on this one.
To answer your question, if you can buy into the counter right now - my answer is hold on. Let us get a clear insight of what the actual amalgamation is all. If you get information, keep it posted, even I have LOK in my portfolio and though a correction, I was not expecting it to lose from 360-270.

For those who got their SL triggered, my apology lies with you, sorry again.

Thanks and Regards
Supratik
Got some more info on Lok Housing activities, so thought about sharing the same.

Once this proposal gets approved, the stock shall experience steep upward movement.
Seniors, what you say?

Thanks!
