So, I can't say the exact entry and exit points. But, looking at the company background, the business they are in and the profits of previous years/quarters make them look attractive. Also, these have come down a bit during the recent market correction. So, based on this, I think we can enter these at current levels. If anybody has time and aptitude for doing a technical analysis, please do it and let us know the correct entry points. Regards, Narendra |

Looks like Suzlon is back in track.
It had reached an all time high of 1500 on 24-Nov-2006. After that it started its downtrend and went down to a low of 960 on 3-Apr-2007. The last time it was above 1200 was on 12-Feb-2007. Today it has come back to 1200 after full 2 months! It faces immediate resistance at 1286 and then again at 1300 and 1320. If it breaks all these levels, I think its next stop will be at the previous high of 1500!! Studying weekly charts might throw up better numbers. So, things look promising. All these things are possible, only if market starts moving up. If we get into another correction, then again we may see more downs! Keep your fingures crossed and pray for the best. -Narendra |

hI INFOSYS79,
i agree your views to avoid tips or recommendations given by tv chsnnels. most of the times their views are different on the same script and are misleading .self study is always the best so the day traders should not be solely depend on the chanels for recommendations but if the views coincides with your study then you may consider.but most important and trustworty is only your own study |

Hi All,
fyi Rel Cap open offer for TV Today at Rs 130.50/shr Reliance Capital is making an open offer to buy 20% equity from existing shareholders in TV Today - the company that runs a clutch of TV channels including Aaj Tak, Headlines Today and Tez. The Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group company has offered to buy the shares at Rs 130.50, amounting to approximately Rs 150 crore, which is a 7% discount to today’s TV Today share price of Rs 140.20. Reliance Capital has already increased it stake in the TV company from 12% to 15% through secondary market operations. Under Sebi guidelines, anyone who buys more than 15% in a company has to make an open offer under the guidelines. An Anil Ambani group spokesperson, when contacted, said: “Yes, we are making an open offer as per Sebi guidelines. However, we see it as an investment and it would not effect the management or control of the company”. TV Today executives, however, were not available for comments. Living Media, which also owns the India Today group of publications, controls over 55.69% equity of TV Today. Thanks and Regards Supratik |

Shares of Tata Tea, India’s second-largest tea company, surged 14.8 per cent today on reports that cola major Coca-Cola is planning to acquire US company Energy Brands International, commonly known as Glaceau, in which Tata Tea holds 30 per cent. According to reports in the international media, Coca-Cola has reportedly valued the maker of the Vitaminwater brand at about $3 billion, higher than the $2.25 billion valuation by the Tata group in August last year when it acquired 30 per cent for $677 million. Tata Tea shares closed at Rs 773.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, against the previous close of Rs 673.70. The stock hit an intra-day high of Rs 781. Industry analysts explained this by saying that Tata Tea may look at exiting Glaceau at a significant premium to its initial investment if Coca-Cola decides to acquire a majority shareholding in the company. When contacted, Tata Tea declined to comment. Glaceau founder J Darius Bikoff, his family, associates, and distributors hold about 50 per cent in the company, while the remaining 20 per cent is held by venture capital funds. The initial agreement signed between Glaceau and the Tata group provides for a further 10 per cent increase in stake by either Tata Tea or Tata Sons, though no specific duration has been assigned. Tata group chief Ratan Tata is the chairman of Energy Brands, while R K Krishna Kumar, vice-president, Tata Tea, is also on the company’s board. The Glaceau board was meeting to discuss the issue at the time of going to the press. A Mumbai-based analyst of the fast moving goods sector said that if Coca-Cola was indeed considering acquiring a majority stake in Glaceau, it would not make sense for Tata Tea to stay invested in the company. “The company is already servicing a significant amount of debt on account of this acquisition and revenues through dividends are not expected for another couple of years,” the analyst said. While Tata Tea is keen on becoming a bigger player in the larger beverage space, this possible acquisition by Coke may hamper its plans. In addition to equity, Tata Tea has access to Glaceau’s widespread distribution network for other brands in its portfolio |
