My suggestion for you is, enter penny stocks only if you can take high risks. That means, you should not get upset even if you loose 100% of your money there.

And to buy a stock at its peak, that too a penny stock is not a good idea.
First of all find out, why it is going in upper circuits.
If it is because of good results, fundamentals etc, then it is ok to buy it.
Some time brokers and market manipulaters will be playing their games. They buy in large numbers to make the stock go up. And after sometime, suddenly dump it and the stock will crash and will never come up. At that time investors like you and me will suffer. It will be very difficult for us to exit, since we will be in huge loss.

So, beware of penny stocks. Even if you enter, fix your target and come out quickly. Also, fix your strict SL. This will help you in reducing the losses.
Don't play to your greed.

Regards,
Narendra

All of these are companies with sound track record and good fundamentals.
All of them have given good returns for the investors.
And all of these are in sideways for sometime and consolidating at the current price.
I don't see any downside for any of these from the current levels.
So, you can start accumulating them at the current levels.

Watch out for Hotel Leela. It has been going up to 65 and coming down to 62. Last 2-3 days it even went down to 61.
Today it has started bouncing back and tested 67 and is currently at 64. Now the winter is getting over and soon summer will start and it is the season of holidays for schools and travel will pick up. So, hotel's will do good during this time.
Given that Hotel Leela is one of the top hotels, it is expected to have more good time.

And I didn't mention HEG.
Supratik had recommended it few moths back and from that levels it went up to nearly 20% and came down a bit.
Now, it has consolidated at 174. I heard that interested parties are accumulating this and it may get a huge jump soon.
I haven't checked the latest results of HEG.
If anybody has any more info on any of these stocks please do post it here.

Regards,
Narendra
Narendra, if I am allowed to add a 6. Raj rayon - This is an amazing counter - downside limited but huge upside potential. For short term traders it is buy at current levels and exit at 51-53. Your inputs Narendra.

Disclaimer: I have the stock in my portfolio

BTW - Narendra, have you included IPCA Lab and Electrotherm India in your portfolio
Our call on Bharti is on fire this is long term call - and keep invested to get returns yoy

Thanks and Regards
Supratik

Thanks for reminding Supratik.
At the time when you posted, I didn't have money and I kept them in my watch list.
After that I totaly forgot.
Now, I want to invest in one or two.
So, how do you prioritize these?
Which is the best and next!?

I will wait for your suggestion on this before proceeding.

Thanks,
Narendra

I just checked HEG results and it was impressive

here is the data

Net sales up 95% to Rs.201 cr, Export sales up by 159% at Rs.131 cr.
PAT up 187% to Rs.16 cr and PBT up 165% to Rs.21 cr

Expanded graphite capacities, higher graphite realisations drive performance

Robust outlook for FY2007 and FY2008, driven by:

· Expanded capacities and higher operational efficiencies

· Strong order book – fully booked for FY07 at higher prices

· Continued firmness in graphite electrode demand & realisations

Apart from this they now the 25 MW power plant which is operational fully and provide low cost power.

The Current Market price is :174

Volumes around (when in checked today):130k

Let me know if this is the right price to enter? and also assit when to exit

Thanks,
Shan

Dear Supratik,
Please recommend regarding Uni Abex I have entered at 156 and CMP is around 99. What do u suggest, do I accumulate more to average out.
What could be the near term prospects.

1 more scrip is MP glycem(CMP 29, ICICI symbol MPGLY) any suggestions for this counter, it got merged with Anik Industries some time back.

Thanks a lot.

regards,
Chopra

Okay let me answer one by one

Narendra - I think I would include Raj Rayon - if it is for short term - enter around this level and exit at 51-53. This would be a good move. I have already posted on IPCA Lab - 610 and Electrotherm India at 490. I think with a long term perpective all 3 would be good (provided they keep up their performance). They are the recent additions to the portfolio.

Shan - HEG is at a good price but as we have decided in this thread that we would take position whenever we have little movement in this counter. Till then hold on.

Vizzie - KLG Systel would face liquidity issues and I think you could get better return from some other counter. Incase you are obsessed I would suggest you to enter at 260-280 levels.

Chopra - I have recommended UNI-Abex Alloys at 150 but since then it has fallen to 100 levels. I think we should not enter the script right now.

Thanks and Regards
Supratik
