Satyam Shares confusion

#1
Dear Members,

I have bought satyam shares at 56. Now you see that it was risen to 66. Now tech mahindra has the buy back offer of 58. Now what will happen?

1) Will Tech Mahindra raise its buy back price?
2) Will Satyam Shares fall to 58 before buy back?
3) Should i hold my shares or exit at current levels?

I really dont understand whats happening with satyam shares. What is your opinion. Please help me.

Thanks.

It Is Actually Quite Simple, Just HOLD Your Shares Wtih Previous Weeks LOW As A Stop Loss, & Enjoy The Ride.....Should Go Up Quite A Bit In My Opinion.

Don't Get Rattled By Little Downside In The Scrip Or Market

Don't Get Rattled By Little Downside In The Scrip Or Market

It happened with me :( I brought that scrip for very high value in the last week of Jan for 55.5/- and waited and waited......nothing happened. In the last week of May, around 12:30 pm, I sold 950 @ 49.6/- out of frustration. But see my bad luck, that scrip started moving from 49.6 and shot up suddenly to 53-54 and later it went on and today I saw it was some 73 or so. I lost 6,000/- out of Satyam deal and feeling very bad out of this bitter experience. Funny thing is, all those I have suggested to buy Satyam have earned profits, more than 25K but me ended with 6K loss :(

a) If You Have Done Your Homework Then One Has To Wait For The Scrip To Move.

b) Problem Is You See All Other Scrips Moving So Much During The Day, That You Start Doubting Your Purchase, & Eventually Sell Out In Loss, Get Into Something That You've Been Eyeing For Sometime....Only To Discover It Has Stopped Moving After Your Entry.

I think I did my homework, so I waited for months but it happened.

You're probably correct. Maybe it's a lesson for me. But I lost 6,000/- PF money that's what hurting me. Anyway, it's past now...

Seems u are chasing price. which is not right trading practice.
Market gives us so many opportunities that even if we miss some of them (actually we are going to miss many oppotunities cause we can't trade all stocks at all time), then it should not impact us.

We just got to focus on finding next opporunity.

Personally - I had many loosing trades when I tried to catch the trend that I missed, In that hurry, I broke the rules of my sensible trading. And result, saw that I bought at the top and price fell and hit my stop .
Not anymore. Now-a-day, It dosen't matter even if market goes without me. I can find next trade that meets my rule.

Happy Trading
