Learn & earn money from the simplest methods

Hi,

I am starting this thread for the small investors, who can,t afford costly automated systems, or even cant afford live charts.

We shall discuss here various trading (effective) methods, yet very simple. One can back test them, I can challenge that these methods can give tough challenge to any state of the art automated systems.

These are primary methods of Technical analysis and not invented by me. I will only focus on "when to apply which method".

No backbiting please.

Any constructive criticism is welcome.

I shall discuss here after closing of markets. However one can use this methods for intraday trading also.

Only condition that you have to trade watching the charts visually, dont ask for automated system for all these. Though automated systems are available in various sites, but once you started using them, your edge shall be diminished .

Well I shall discuss here various method of trading following Trend, Moving averages, patterns, trendlines, pivots, support & resistences, volumes and few oscillators.

Most of the people here in this forum know about all this things. Hope I dont have to give definitions.

My job shall be focused in brief on which methods shall be used when to gain money from the markets. And make confident the traders, otherwise loosing money.

In practical life, I may or may not be using all of them, which I shall discuss here. But its necessary for a newbie.

When a person continuously study the charts without any automated system for years, becomes a master of chart analysis and dont need any oscillators, trendlines, pivots and can trade in any trending markets watching the price lines.

Before discussing further, I would like to request you guys, that if you are already using a profitable trading system(manual or automated), this thread is not for you.

Until and unless some system gets failed, no need to incorporate with another one.

If you are still searching for a profitable trading systems, you are welcome. I can assure you at end of our discussion you shall be able to gain at your own.

Here we shall discuss about methods, systems one by one, and do trade practically with the help of them.

Trends & trading

Our first discussion is about Trend & Trading Markets.

My view

Open any chart of any time frame, you wish to trade.

Without plotting any indicator decide the trend, either up or down, within 2 seconds.

OK, No trend? Then it must be a trading/choppy/sideways market or stock, whatever it may be.

If Its trending we can do our business. Otherwise let us find out another one.

For rangebound markets some methods are there in options, but for that a lot of margin is required, above 2 lakhs in present market conditions. We shall discuss on later stage.
