short selling question on educomp

Hello,

If I short sell some shares at higher price and if I am able to buy back the shares at lesser price and give them to broker will I be able to make profit. And there any hidden risks involved. I am using sharekhan account.

Within how many days I need to return those shares?

Sir if it is cash then you need to settle it within the traded session,but if it is futures you have time till expiry which again you can rollover.
