Hey guys,

thanks for your kind concern, actually i am new to TRADERJI and i want to learn the saint's method of trendline trading. i have studied it but i am confused about the pivot points. In the graph, the trendline is made touching the absolute low/high. but in discussion it is written something about pivot high/lows. And what i found about pivot points is something average of low, high and close. I donno what am i missing but i am confused and so want to get it clearified by any of you esteemed members of the community. pl. spare some time of you to answer my query......

Pivot high/low mentioned in Saints method are also referred as Swing high/low, market structure high/low by other people. Basically they are the points where market changed the direction ..

The pivot point that are derived as average of High, low and close are called as floor trader pivot points.

As long as you understand the concept, the name will not confuse you.
