buy today sell tomorrow (called as BTST on ICICI, ATST on Reliance) is a facility offered by your broker and its completely their discretion as to which scrips to allow for BTST. Which platform you trade on ? Generally, in their help section, the list of such scrips is mentioned. BTST also involves danger of auction i.e. if you sell shares, which are bought today, on the next day and delivery of the shares that you bought is not received, you face auction penalties. Although many people excercise this option and rarely someone has faced this situation, just wanted to give you this information so as to make this information complete. I hope this helps. Best regards, Abhay |
