hi all
Please tell me about those stocks which can be sold next day after purchasing and about auction also ,its procedure and reason.
First of all, you have started 2 threads with same heading... delete either.

buy today sell tomorrow (called as BTST on ICICI, ATST on Reliance) is a facility offered by your broker and its completely their discretion as to which scrips to allow for BTST. Which platform you trade on ? Generally, in their help section, the list of such scrips is mentioned.

BTST also involves danger of auction i.e. if you sell shares, which are bought today, on the next day and delivery of the shares that you bought is not received, you face auction penalties. Although many people excercise this option and rarely someone has faced this situation, just wanted to give you this information so as to make this information complete.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Abhay

Thank you for your reply.Actually i registered in this site quite long ago but didn't use this forum. When i didn't got any reply I thought I have to start more than one thread so that every body could read it and answer me as I need the answer desperately.I have trading account in reliance money.I bought shares of bajaj financial services and gtl. Both of these shares are in their ATST list but still my broker insist that I will have to take the delivery or will have to face auction. Can you please tell me what is the percentage chance of facing auction.

I think I have already answered. There is nothing like fixed % that works in this scenario... it works most of the time but can't say how many times it can fail... I have never faced auction on ATST / BTST...
