It is said that there was a bull run from 2003 till January 2008. I am giving below NSE at the lowest and highest during this period.
DATE LOW HIGH REMARK 1/1/2003 1100.00 25/4/2003 925.00 Lowest of 2003 14/1/2004 1982.00 9 MONTHS BULL 17/5/2004 1388.00 4 MONTHS BEAR 10/3/2005 2167.00 10 MONTHS BULL 19/4/2005 1909.00 1 MONTH BEAR 9/5/2006 3720.00 12 MONTHS BULL 14/6/2006 2732.00 1 MONTH BEAR 4/12/2006 4015.00 6 MONTHS BULL 6/3/2007 3655.00 2 MONTHS BEAR 8/1/2008 6287.00 10 MONTHS BULL 16/7/2008 3807.00 BEARISH OVER 6 MONTHS You will observe present 6 months is the longest phase of bear market, however, there were several small rallies during the bear phases.

why should bull's have all the fun
 if one is a trader doesn't matter bearish or bullish market. Veteran traders like Jesse prefers bearish market over a bullish one, as they make more money when people are losing money than when other people are making money.
