Hi,

I am a new joinee. I had recieved the shares of bharat starch few days back.

I want to sell these shares to promoters of the company. Can anyone guide me with the procedure.

The shares are in physical form and I am not sure whether the banks are dematerialising those shares.

Are these shares traded in the market. Can you please provide me with some more information

It seems that the shares are not listed either in BSE or NSE. How did you acquire them?

How did u getthe shares just a few days back!!!!

Bharat Starch scheme of reorganisation gets HC nod

Bharat Starch (Q, N,C,F)* Industries Ltd has informed Bombay Stock Exchange that the scheme of reorganisation by way of arrangement, amalgamation and reconstruction between the company, English Indian Clays Ltd., BILT Bio-Chemicals Ltd and Bharat Projects Ltd had been approved by the respective high courts at Cochin, Ahmedabad and New Delhi vide their orders dated April 10, 2002, February 8, 2002 and May 9, 2002 respectively.

Accordingly, the said scheme of reorganisation has become effective on June 7, 2002 transfer date being w e f April 1, 2001. As per the orders of the high court at Ahmedabad, the company ceases to be in existence from June 7, 2002 and the citric acid project of the company has de-merged to BILT Bio Chemicals Ltd, and residuary undertakings of the company ie starch division and investment has merged with English Indian Clays Ltd (EICL).

Thanks for so many responses.

Actually the people who are holding the shares of English India clay have got the shares of Bharat starch. I dont know the eact conversion ration but i think it is for every 19 shares of ENGIC you get 4 shares of Bharat Starch.

Also you can sell these shares to the promoters that is sent it back to the company and they will give you 1000 Rs per share price.

If you are holding shares of ENGIC before the record date then the shares will be sent by the company in physical form of Bharat starch. There are sum individuals who have not yet recieved those shares
