Anybody intraday trading with the MACD?

Anyone have experience with this? Anyone making money with this indicator? Please share.

Sometimes I find it useful but at times it doesn't work. Maybe I'm using it wrong

Please replay for this Q if any one using this method for intraday.
Also please give ans for this Q .Which indicator is better for intraday trading?Any success trader please answer.

macd looks perfect on charts once the markets are closed,not good for live intra day trading.....

So does that mean I can eliminate MACD for intraday trade? That's great. One less indicator to test ha ha

When even a SMA is working for some people then logically MACD can also be used.Now what optimisation is to be used or any smoothening before optmization is upto different individuals perception.
Karthik's study on MACD is the best stuff till date ,available in this Forum & he has improvised MACD a lot & there are few of his gr8 Afl's available.

an indicater looking perfect for a trend may b useless for another trend....
every indicater has its winning streaks & drawbacks & also the sucess or failure depends upon the timeframe ....
in a trending mkt , macd is good for nothing.

i totally agree with you sir.I did not mean to offend you or anybody here.Different indicators work for different people.Infact i always look for sma on eod charts,but for some reason macd on intra day never seemed to work for me and yes there are thousands who have made millions trading on macd.....My personal flaw is i do not have a lot of patience and from my experience with macd one needs to have a lot of patience while trading on a macd or sma's during intra day and the success ratio i had was quite bad but infact the amount of profits involved in these few succesfull trades were higher than the average profits of other trades.
