Need ur suggesions for investment
Hi Friends
I'm already late to be here and for investment though I'm of 33 having one baby girl of 1 yr. Till now my investments are ... 1. 1L for 80C pa 2. 35K in equities, 3. just now started 2 MFs as SIP for 2K each pm 4. having a term policy from LIC of 10L Still I believe I should invest more for my and my daughter's future. If the investment gurus here can help me out I'll be thankful. In addition to that plz suggest me where should I invest Rs 1L now ? //Thank you all in adv

My serious advise is to you since i am also a father, where ever you invest do all study before investing since you investing not doing trading.
I too have invested in equity , kept my daughter future in my mind but all of those investment are in govt. companies like Ntpc, SBI. In stock market we can do trading in any company good or bad does not matters only thing matters is we should get some profit in some days. But when it comes to investing that also for a child future you should keep saftey of your Investment first thing in mind then think of returns you will get and i feel from this point of view good govt. companies are best

The time to get entered depends on the time frame for which you want to do the investment. If you are a long-term investor, say for 2 years or more, you can get entry now or wait for some more suitable opportunities. Right now market is very unstable and swinging in both directions. So you will always get an opportunity to get entered. And do not invest in one go. I would suggest it to do in small quantities each time at right time. Take your time to judge the runway and then take off.
