Default What does SENSEX indicate

I would like to get the opinion of the investors on what is there perception of SENSEX?

SENSEX often used as a reflection of the health of the Capital markets or the economy rather than the quality of BSE 's service.

Therefore the current downswing or crash of SENSEX cannot be attributed to the bad quality of service of BSE. It is perhaps an indirect impact of either the raising global oil prices or the perceieved impact of the farm loan waiver in the Indian budget.

In this context I am undertaking an important sruvey of investor perception about whether SENSEX is an indicator of BSE or Indian Economy?

I request investors to respond in their opinion whether SENSEX as an indicator is closer to BSE performance or Indin Economy's performance.

In otherwords if you rate on scale of 1 to 10 with BSE at 1 and Indian Econimy at 10, Where do you place SENSEX as an indicator?

Your views will be highly appreciated.

Anyway..........if u r asking it for sarvey.........just hold the graph for last 3-5 years......and watch the growth..........
