very good question. Rpower has never disclosed the record date. Or like the rumor spread is it only for original alloties, etc have not been told. we have to wait and see.

IF any one knows the answer please let everybody know(with proper source, Not wild guess as many used to do over net)

As per Current SBI norms, they cannot issue bonus shares for original allotties only.
Rather specific, Record date should be date after the meeting held as per SEBI norms. But not sure, If reliance has screwed some law and issue bonus share and arrange someone to get stay to issue bonus share and thus keep his investment in his own hands.

As per SEBI norms, the record date must be Yesterday or later than That as meetign held yesterday.

Ok Now Latest news got from googling.

Rpower record date is yet to be decided on the meeting going to held some time later. so we know the date only then. Meanwhile if rpower goes below 400-410, we can accumulate to gain some bucks.

Clarified: Share will be given to all those who held shares on the Record date and Not for Original Allotees, so who book loss already and never entered again , wont get anything.

i think postal ballot is a kind of voting thing where public vote for the decision and after a specified date the results are out and as per public's demands.... what do you say.....

Nice idea to keep the stock at this price, may be ambani can sell some of his own shares in market at 450(cost to him is 10) and buy back after bonus issue,

Very clever. mostly it will take more than a week time then
