I have 16 shares,Is it Good idea to buy 9 more today so I have 25 to get 15 Bonus shares?
Is it possible that Record date is decided as 24th or 25th?

@ashii : what i understand is either u can enter reliance power for two strategies...

1. get rel power shares today and sell it off 2 days prior to record date release.

2. get rel power shares today, hold on to it and pray the record dat falls when u have the shares with you and the fair price of the shares are more than 270 which the retail investor will have.

3. third strategy would be, and based on what i think, buy once share price is revised to 270, i think it will fall and then bounce backto a fair price of more than 270 within a sapn of 1 - 2 days. Buy and either hold for long term.

ur take on these two will decide your strategy.... for shares already with you, keep them holding.....

@koolfriend4u : sadly i had urgent need of money and was very risk cautious, hence sold in small lots at around 435... what do u say... should a buy @ 450 justify for gains till record date release....

@ganaviuma: WELCOME to TRADERJI.....u will get if the record date falls on the day when you are holding the sahres.... and what you ahve mentioned i think you will get it......

but again the profit or loss will be decided on the fair value of share and what are your epectations...... if you feel 270 rs. post bonus is overvalued then suggest sell it at 450 levels and get profit... if you think 270 rs. post bonus is undervalued then hold it....

Exclamation Re: Reliance Power Bonus Issue Record Date

Hi,

Are there any confirmed updates as to when RPower Bonus date has been announced?

Or is there no info as such so far, as the prices of this seems to be going down a lot.

Thanks.
