The market may go up in a week or two. It may not rocket up but still will consolidate around 16000-17000 for some time. Only the results will take the market up significntly. It is clearly seen that the sentiments and expectations are at the bottom most level. But, both the institutional investors and the mutual funds are neither selling nor buying. It is only the panic that keeps the market down. While our market is not completely decoupled, it do not lean so much on others. The results season will definitely boost the morale. This should not be construed as bear market. It is only a bearish trend in a bull market.Panic sellers are almost gone. We may see a slow turn around very soon.

I think we need to change the title now 12000 or 15000,
I belive 15K is good support but in bearish trend the support would soon become resistance and 13K would be good support Like LnT and ICICI I expect the global factors, rising inflation and uncertainties in Currency and Crude price chances are Earnings effected the P/E will be revised. But good point is Local demand in india is huge and we will still have some level of insulation with the global factors to some extend our growth story will be intact and we will see a bounce back coming but really its difficult to predict exact point of time when bull will take over. might be end of this result session or it might be delayed more ie. 2009 So keeep buying your quality picks on every decline. |

It's not really the Bears, it's the vultures who descend after the mkt falls 20%-30%.

Even if we get a big bounce [which i highly doubt], the market will test atleast 13-14k before the correction ends. The Indian markets are still at a 6 month low, the rest of the world is past 9 month lows.
