Hope most exitted

I was busy these days....I could see all(Not most...but all) of my counters hit the s/l and I made exit at very meagre losses.....thanks to saint's advise of following strict s/l...i had lost last year, but this year,nothing was gone....I hope most of the people here exit after the s/l were hit......

The market does not seem to support levels now....I'm not even trying to analyse the bottom...good investment time will be back soon....now I see that the counters were too much appreciated from last year's fall...So this time had to come....

Well done,Ganesh........but don't forget reentry as well once we get the signal that this daily dntrend is moving to another uptrend.

can someone please explain how to put stoploss with some examples.
also, how to put sl in icicidirect

please take some time out and explain in detail with proper examples.

yes pk...golden words as always...nice to see you here....but education keeps me busy...though I got saved by the s/l,but could not take part in shortsell (as I did not have close observations these days)...never mind, let the bull magic begin again,when I may think of entering...

Ahh..thanks saint..I made lots of loss last year in my greed...tried to catch the falling knife(hope you remember the term qoted)..frustration, put it even more....thankfully, I picked up the stocks that time itself and market boomed again....played always with s/l(which never got triggered)...but this time,when they triggered, a safe exit was made...though i'm sitting back and watching it,i also worry for the tensions people are taking now(lots of my frnds committing the same mistake I did last year..they just went on amending the s/l in greed, thinking stocks would recover)..anyways,time is a great healer,and the lesson learnt from this would always make them rich in future...MARKETS ARE ALWAYS MERCILESS...one has to make money both ways, when market goes up,as well as when it goes down....though we are in downtrend, we have to remember an uptrend will follow...this is not the time to invest..let the trend change..and yes, I with limited knowledge will ask all the members here not to try to catch the bottom of market......put money in parts with commonsense(you do not require rocket science for this)......though the markets is oversold,but oversold markets never mean buy.....some sectors got lot of beatings and now look juicy to enter into...still, one can wait and buy them at some more cost when the trend resumes..

hmm..well I got struck with RELNATU...

the momentum it was showing from 180+ duped me a lot ..and I am facing pain because of that...

otherwise..was kind of ok..

hmmmm...lots of losses to ambanis....lots of wealth washed away this week....

Some counters seem to be very good at these levels now..but i've not bought anything yet..hard to control during the day, but feel pleasant and cool in the evening when the markets close....god...i think, i did the right thing by staying away from market today..
