I sold @ 128.00 & covered the same in the same day @ 101.00,that was when yesterday Nifty Fut was trading near 4797.00 (at that time it was High) & when it dashed up & simply covered it,no reading in it.

However a Nifty view will be posted before Monday 9.30am.

Asish
Ashishda, i didn't mean to imply that option writing is imprudent - actually i have no idea as to what is right & what is wrong in writing as i have not paid any attention to it let alone making any such trade. I have so far avoided writing due to the unlimited risk involved (as pointed out by Aca).

However might be a good ploy close to expiry

Regards,
Kalyan.

Dear SavantGarde,

I am curious here and want to know how you could calculate precise target, particularly 211.80 ? What I could see is, on daily chart of NTPC, it did make higher top today but volumes were almost half of its previous days. I also see that it is also in the strong resistance zone today but it is rallying ever since it hit the double bottom with good volumes (except today). Your answer will help me understand where and what I am missing to calculate such precise targets.
Aha, Abhay, Savant is a Master when it comes to calculating such precise lvls. As far as i know, he bases them on a lot of things while most of us rely on any 1 thing.

Regards,
Kalyan.

we broke the 12th march high of 4997 on NF ? till now we were still dabbling within the last fall from 4997 to 4476... so a pull back & breakout of 4999 would be great, imho
