I covered my shorts today... near 4950.... did not have the courage to hold till yesterdays pivot of 5100

And I am long now, with SL below 4990...

Your SL mentioned earlier for long of 4910/20 held today

Sir, Thanks for your advise. I am already keeoing notes and now onwards shall be even more particular to maintain the trade diary.
I wasnt trading today but my friend who has a terminal and at whose place i am running the metastock he traded 10 lots and made excellent money by any standards.
He exited 6 lots every time at net 15 points gain and carried the balance 4 lots till reversal. On four ocassions as predecided he exited 6 lots at 15 points and balance at achieving ~1%... it was an excellent day. Only one trade hit SL of around 4/5 points.
The net result of my friend was simply unbelievable......
He took chances not becose of anything else but because the data was pathetic...
But he was lucky at crucial junctures the system did not fail.
I am really really happy inspite of it that i did not make money....but i am learning.
The input by SGM and a few PM have been really really really encouraging and all of it due to uashish n rkkarnani!!!
Once i start trading fully I may not be able to post trade live.... I do know they are of no use to any one and my cause to write the trades here was to get directions from seniors and they have really obliged.
It is being a really very good learning expirience!!!

There is nothing Gr8 in that indicator.Infact the back-test report was not so encouraging.However as with some input from Mr karnani it seems you may have devised something.No need to thank me,many a times we have developed ;on a basic concept/code something as per our need,which i understand you may have done on the 'Kolkata Meet' indicator.Hence now it is your Version.

My dear,if u r not going for trading for a hobby,then why don't u subscribe to esignal,as u will get the full 125$ subscription fee for the whole month in a session,if trading in 10 lots? Try them and u can avail the money back within 30 days(except the exchange fee of 2$) if not satisfied.Best of luck.

Thanks for the advise sir, i am already thinking of it, even SGM had suggested this.
I checked the eSiganl old data and find that they do not have the continous data in future lots....as is the case of NSE data provided by other vendors. There is a sort of gap at the time of derivative closing!!!
Looking into it and seeking ways to overcome the difficulty if any arises. Any suggestion shall be really be welcome....
BTW, I plan to trade just 5 lots for first few weeks....
