I really anticipate a sideways movement at this level now, atleast till the point REPL gets listed. After that, i am sure the market will again touch 20K for sure.

Time to go on a vacation and forget about the huge losses amassed by me. Most of the stocks are mid cap so a bit worried though.

But learned a good lesson - ALWAYS KEEP 40% OF YOUR HOLDINGS IN CASH and DONT PUT ALL THE EGGS IN ONE BASKET
Well said Anurag. I am also victim of my own greed. One should make a thumb rule to sit on atleast 30% cash for these kind of unforseen situations which are bound to occur atleast once in a year. But again the question comes how to time the market. Is it the lowest the market has gone or will it go down by another 2000 points. In this scenario how to come up with an good investment strategy.

monday you will definietly see all greens. only thing it cannot regain the friday levels in a day. most of our feared breathers had sold even fundamental stocks at a loss and most traders are now sitting with cash on monday. opening moves may not be healthy as some more fearful sale will be seen only on some counters.

by 10.30 or 11 the market will settle there will be good climb on strategic stocks as before and here again our brothers will sell some more stocks. whatever it is, monday sensex cannot close below 19000 levels and there will be an upward movement. i have some dougt only for tuesday as the MF AND FII may show their muscles again on that day.
hey expert are you there? LOL

Hi Freinds,,

In my opinion sensex will be down another 3000 points and by February 2nd week liquidity will be good then we could see smart recover. My suggestion is sell positions and sit with cash.

Happpy short selling..

Lesson learned back to fundamentals

1. Always book regular profits specially in bull markets
2. diversify risk identify long term and short term hodlings.
3. 50 % or more on cash specially when your getting al singles for strong correction.
4. And when its broken like now Go for shopping as we are not sure about the bottom
I am doing in phased manner that is buy 20-20-20 on regular dips.

My Suggestion to people who are in huge losses Go LT. wait for even 6 months. Maybe you are correct but again when i try to follow your advice i am taking greedy opproach. If stocks recover all paper losses will become real losses.
Anyway lets take this as a lesson and learn from it. My hearty congratulations to those who were succesful in avoiding this armageddon and are sitting on cash. Enjoy shopping.
