Power Grid : Diversifying
Dear Friends ! I just read the same on rediff. Will it IMPACT on stock price ? Why this stock is still in Red (on 8th Jan).
Power Grid has capex of Rs 5500 crore and plans to diversify into the telecom sector, entertainment and tower business, says RP Singh, CMD of the company, on NDTV Profit. The company expects turnover of Rs 5000 crore for FY08 and is in discussions with the government to exploit telecom potential, he adds. Kindly share your views I am holding Power Grid @ 155. Kindly advice me.

if we could understand the phenominon. I would have baught RNRL insteal of Powergrid. I am holding both for long term. RNRL has done wonders and expect powergrid to be a decent one.
