All want to book Profit and make their money free for Reliance Power IPO. If your stock are good then you can hold it else loss book.

YES, it can be one of the reasons but can hold only 10 to 20% in actual.

The major thing is PROFIT Booking...

hold on - i believe there are three things now - Budget nearing, R-power IPO & profit booking - after a while all will become stable.

Again - the major is profit booking and hence it has taken toll on the makret quite a lot..

We can see some more in coming trading sessions.

IF THIS is the mkt condition that a 24hrs can make such a diff in sentiments , mind u...this is not a place for u to b in.....
the bse small cap index is spiking up since last week of aug & continue to remain so.....the worry is many alike u.. buy a stock 2day, sell it 10/20 % higher nxt week , pound on to another SMS, again same story....again , again........but do u know that u r trapping urselves @ every rise in bse small cap index....???
this phenomenon is called the musical chairs...
in the end @ all ur profits r locked @ the top of the mountain while u r kicked off from the cliff.....
always entr whn the trend is abt 2 mature & try to hold all through the maturity or till r satisfied with ur profits....wait for a decent corrction for reentering....
always avoid stocks that donot allow u 2 buy 2 opening due 2 uc...
the same may repeat viceversa when the tide reverses....

i agree with sudoku comment. many do not understand that mostly we (st.traders) are behind this. that is why there is an upswing for an hour and it comes down for next 3 hrs and only good stocks will regain its value and most of tempting stocks by sms will fail in this situation.

the midcap will buildup in a day or two but small cap nobody can predict its movements. but truly we all are expecting this fall for the past 4 days as there is an unsual volumes in unfamliar stocks.

raghavan.
