What an thoughtful question, many ppls never think about such type of Q's?  Stock market is such a place where Somebody gains and somebody looses, to make someone gain someone has to loose, this is what I feel One can sell the stock(s) and then only one can buy. As per my knowledge i think about average 45 to 55% of people loose money due to various factors such as - -- Intraday -- Llack of patience -- Lack of controls over their emo's -- Lack of picking abilities and so on. But overall if you stay positive in the market with your positions and / or holdings I think it is a good place to earn over the period of time When I say over the period of time this does not mean any ST's gains but with a long term visionary approach.
