Question NRI Investor - A beginner

Hi all,
I live in Bangkok. I would like to invest in the Indian stock market. I have an NRI account in HDFC and I have already applied for opening a DEMAT account with HDFCsec. However, I don't know much about how will I be trading online from here.
Maybe someone like me , who is already doing this might like to give me few tips? Help please!

Hi Friend,

Welcome to the board... I believe- when you will have your account opened and activated you will get an information manual or booklet from HDFC as to how to operate things or do trading using their online services ( I guess HDFC do provide online services) like ICICI Direct, for ICICI you can check www.icicidirect.com, they do have a separate section as NRI accounts

Also- in case you have any further doubts about buying, purchasing stocks , on this board there are many highly qualified and helpful senior Pros who will offer their pivitol help to you to get you started on the right track.

I wish you Best of luck!

Thanks!

Thank you very much! I hope it is not going to be very difficult.
I was looking for a thread specifically for NRIs but couldn't find one on traderji.
