Spot on ,,, As I had earlier mentioned that the mgmt is capable of doing a U TURN within a matter of days ,,, yester the CEO says that there is a possibility that the process maybe revived ,,, just a day after he said that the process had been completely scrapped

Spot on ,,, As I had earlier mentioned that the mgmt is capable of doing a U TURN within a matter of days ,,, yester the CEO says that there is a possibility that the process maybe revived ,,, just a day after he said that the process had been completely scrapped BLOODY FRAUDSTERS .

These guys are really playing around with the investors ,,,, just in a day the CEO reverses his stance and says the possibility of the stake sale cannot be ruled out ,,, no wonder then that the stock refused to go down below 75 yesterday.

It seems that lots of inside guys bought yesterday and dont get surprised if a compromise formula is reached very soon

So keep holding and enjoy the ride

Hi,

I had accumulated 500 of IFCI.and was selling them at every rise ..50-100 every time.but some bad luck and the day it rose to 121 I had again purchased 400 ..Very bad move..Now I am stuck...I plan to hold , as I have collected in CASH Market..What next ..Very Bad Luck on my side...As the day it rose ..Only 100 were with me,,but my mistake was again buying at 119...

Just saw the bulk deals section today and saw that reputable names like MERILL LYNCH and GOLDMAN SACHS have sold quantities of 40,000 - 45,000 shares on thursday. Well i wonder that they are just trying to scare investors or is it a real end for IFCI.

Rumours are also afloat that IFCI may rise suddenly 15% a day and bulls will have their last laugh in F & O segment

Raju,
Wow what more wrong can an investor do. You are saying that you sold IFCI when it was rising and bought when it was falling , an absolute blunder as you should have transacted the other way round.

You should feel lucky that you have survived, plz. dont do this kind of mistakes again

45k shares sell off will be considered very less in the portifolio of Gold Mach Sach and Merill Lynch.. To discard their portifolio they have to do it in plannned manner.. It cannot be a simple entry and exit.. I am sure some people are portifolio managers here who can give an insight how they build their strategies and working plan..

That is what makes me doubtful rajesh, i am sure both these names would be having atleast 10 times more of the stock and all this showing up in Bulk Deals section may be a gimmick to create a panic among small guys.

I think when these people will sell they will sell it so secretely that nobody will discover it, but one thing is for sure that IFCI DOES NOT HAVE BRIGHT FUTURE NOW

Mouthwatering maybe?
Why not? The (pre-deal) fair value for the company remains 85-90/shr And what's more this is widely known.

Perhaps it's the run-up in prices that prompted IFCI mgmt (mostly govt agencies) to cancel the deal. They probably feel that 6 mths down the line they can raise money from the mkt itself at this price or higher without needing to relinquish a slice of the mgmt control to a strategic (& private) investor.

Regards,
Kalyan.
