(This is the long term holding of HB STOCK as on April 2007. (please read continuosly for each stock I canot upload correctly) Their 37 crore ivestment is now 564 crores. They bought JPassociate at Rs.38 !!! and still holding nearly 24 lakhs shares. This investment list alone says the instric value of HBstock is 564/2.4 = Rs.235 per HB share.
And there is a huge Short term investment list and lot of untraded investment also there.
More intersting is that nearly 2 out off 3 stocks in the above list are now in turned in bull phase.
As for my consern HBSTOCK has more hidden value!!! Its worth may higherthen 400+.

Hi, I am a new member here. Tried to buy HB STOCK thru icicidirect.com, but it said Script not available for trade. Why is it so ? Can anyone help ....

I have found this this report is 10 month old.so i have doubt why the price not increased?

I am not aware of what zakirui"s information what he had 10 months back... I analysed zakiru attached file. It is in line with my research.

If I had that information at that time I will definily purched the HB in thousands.....

But zahari had the information then how much he bought?!!!

I went to the anual report of the company and found that all.

What ever it may be. Even HB stock is very very very very cheeeeeep!!!!

Don"t hesistate to but now, Daily it is in upper circuit,

More over the price HB traded now is very very very low compare to its instrinct value

NSE PRICE IS 1TO 1.5 RUPEES less than BSE. Hence put order in BSE and get the stock. If you put order
in NSE for 100 share in UC you may get 5 or 6. for that you have to wait full day. put order in BSE and grasp the HB

Well Spot....HB Stockholdings...it is in fact hit 5 % ceiling today

BTW...HB Stockholdings has another sister concern called HB Portfolio and it too has Investments in various shares including our favorite Jaiprakash Associates...in fact it has ~ 16 lac shares of Jaiprakash Associates worth Rs.300 cr.

Current Market Capitalisation of HB Portfolio is Rs.120 cr.

As Warren Buffet said...this stock is available at ~60% discount to its intrinsic worth.

HB Stockholding Promoters also have another listed company called HB Portfolio. The too deal in investments and are currently holding 15 lac shares of Jaiprakash Associates worth Rs.300 crore. The Market Capitalisation of HB Portfolio is Rs.120 cr.

Further HB Portfolio holds Rs.10 cr of Unitech. Rs.10 cr of Parshvanath. Other holdings are Bharat Electronics, Bharat Earth Movers, Ballarpur Industries, Ceat, Crompton Greaves, Indian Hotels, HLL.

Please suggest if one can buy this stock currently priced at Rs.100. This company unlike HB Stockholdings does not have accumulated losses and is paying dividend @ 18%.
