Default SCANNER (Filters) FOR INDIAN STOCKS

ALL,

Is there any stock scanner similar to the one's in the U.S.? The most popular stock scanners in the U.S. are :

1) Insight
2) First Alert
3) Trade Ideas

I am new to the Indian Market. Suppose I want to scan the whole Indian market for a set of conditions (it may be any condition like for e.g. 1) show me stocks making new highs, 2) show stocks that have crossed the 200 EMA 3) show stocks with doji 4) show stocks with unusually high volume etc. etc. etc.).

How can I go about performing these? If there is nothing, then I would like to invite every body and lets start writing an application for this. Omkaramango and tradingsystems: would love your input.

Barring 3, buzzingstocks should be able to handle the other queries.

I thought moneyyoga looked promising when it came to notice a couple of days back; but today the domain name seems to have lapsed.

HTH.

For buzzingstocks, how to set the search engine for stocks where "50DEMA crossing over 200DEMA"?

Thanks. Y did I add to moneyoga!

There is no prebuilt DEMA. For EMA, an approximation is:
(EMA50 > 0.99 * EMA200 AND EMA50 < 1.01 * EMA200) AND (CLOSE > PREVCLOSE)

Not validated; please check and confirm.
