After market order

yes After Market Orders are of great use as they allow to place orders after the market closes. Such order placing facility enable you to place order at your convenient time without waiting for markets to open. All orders placed via AMO after the closing of the market and before its opening next are automatically sent to the exchange by the broker's system to the exchange without your presence and placed in the exchange.

My broker has Odin terminal and says he cannot place orders even at 9.50 AM, says has to wait till the market opens to place the order.

In AMO, how is the sequence of order decided : Suppose I offer to sell share X at Rs.20/- and so does someone else.... whose order shall be executed "first"?? On what basis is it decided???
Keen to know more about after market orders.
regards

SSKI does not allow AMO in BSE. I hv no idea about other brokers. But in NSE SSKI allows only buy orders somewhere arround 11 PM and sell orders after mid-night. India Bull allows AMO but timing is their choice. Changes on daily basis.

Indiabulls RM told me that after market orders are sent to the exchange couple of minutes later after the market opens. I told him then whats the use of AMO. He said those are the rules of Indiabulls.
