DEECCAN GOLD MINES...
B very very carefull instocks which do not allow one to enter , for , when the tide turns....the vice versa also happens
todays close..117.65

technically , the scrip gave a thundering buy on 7/9/07 @ 15.80 close.
on a med to long term basis , its a HOLD....only a close below 40 will alter the bullish outlook..

Is it really a multi-bagger or just a speculative play?

1. The promoters have reduced their stake by 4.2% (from 58% to 54%).

http://www.bseindia.com/qresann/anno...%20Mines%20Ltd

2. A company (which must be closely associated with promoters or are strategic investors) had 11 million warrants at Rs. 15.1 (which would be 20%+ of current outstanding equity base of 58.45 million), but did not convert them into shares in Nov 2007, and thus willingly had foregone their 10% initial money. Rs. 15 vz current Rs. 135 !!

3. The company has posted exploration report every quarter from March 2005 to June 2007. After that no reports !!

I say it is both right now, though more on the speculative side. It is in the right sector which has lots of potential as Government is planning major thrust in Gold mining sector and this is one the best placed company in the market in that sector right now. Lack of information from company's side is the major concern.

This was bound to happen as it was running non stop from 50 levels. Though It is a very High Risk High return stock, anybody wanting to enter has to take atleast a 2-3 years horizon. I am looking for below 100 levels to buy some, though one could start with buying 10-15% of the total quantity which one has planned to buy in this one at every LC, sort of down averaging.

No news as such, these corrections happen and most importantly it is across the board in midcaps and smallcaps so it is not specific to JC or RIIL. On the contrary it would be an opportunity for those wanting to buy these stocks if they fall more from hereon.

Hi Jnj,

Thanks for this update.

What level you can think of falling for - JC and RIIL so one can Re-Think about buying them at lower levels?

JC below 1000 and RIIL? Please let me know your views for these.

Thanks again.

I Dont think JC will go below 1000, this correction could take it near 1150, RIIL could go upto 2100. I will be surprised if they go below these levels.
