Hi,

I have no clue if this is the right thread to post this discussion so please pardom me for that. Traderji, I would be obliged if you would let this thread be here as it receives the maximum visits... or please feel free to shift it to relevant thread if that is not possible. AND if you think it is not allowed please delete it.

I dont think so I can ever give back what traderji has taught me withini these many years... but this is just one gesture to repay it back...
PLEASE I AM NOT PROMOTING ANYTHING THAT IS WHY I AM NOT MENTIONING ANY WEBSITE NAME IN HERE TOO.

Many people are there in this thread who are always alive and kicking to learn and to help others learn. I really want to share with you my views on an idea I have in my mind for long now :

Lets establish a not-for-profit organization rather than an NGO which would guide people on how to invest. This is what I plan to do :

* Start a not for profit organization which helps people invest;
* People follow a dummy portfolio of stocks, bonds, commodities, mf's etc. which are live portfolio's and if they just replicate those portfolio's they make money, not something like a live call but explain them reasons for every investment so as to educate them and make them self-sufficient in taking these calls;
* There is no charge of any kind for giving calls, or for educating them;
* The same site would also have something like an Investment School which would have its own Mentors and students(common man like you and me) and dozen's of courses from forex to commodities, from stocks to mutual funds from Hedge Funds to Private equity Money all built on a very university like platform which has its own tests, chat room, course codes, course contents, subject lines, structures.etc.
* The idea is to educate people for free help them channel their investments from Fixed Income Instruments like FD's.etc to other forms of Intruments and help them make some money in this bull run.
* The same website also has something like a HelpDesk which caters to all sorts of queries in a very professional way being it tax related or investment related.
* There are loads of people our there almost 90 out of 100 which have no clue about how to make investments, what MF's are how to invest in them properly and the sad part is most of us only the elite educated people don't know anything about the world of financial instruments;
* Why not we make these people, people like you and me like your and my dad learn all these things at their own pace, at their own comfort and in the end be awarded a certificate which is certified by top websites like traderji(just a thought) and charge them some fee in return for just the certificate and some advanced courses.
* All the money collected in this way would be donated at the end of the month to some charity like CRY, SHIKSHA.etc and the receipts including all the money collected, via ads, donations, Investment school fees.etc would be published on the website for transperacy.

Guys the idea is simple educate the people like you and me more and request them to pay a little give them services for their money and with that money educate the poor. It's a very simple concept but a little different from the bunch of NGO's etc out there and at the same time maintain transperacy by publishing the receipts for both revenues collected and donated.

Guys this is just a thought which I plan to impelement pretty soon. Please this is no publicity just a thought and which I wanted to share with all of you. Please let me know what you think about this ???

In the end I would say that I am in no way trying to replicate traderji which is far superior than any website.. but yes I am planning to provide all this information in a very structured and organized format... something like a school. Lets say people learn everything in a very structured way and then discuss all the stuff at traderji and assciated forums. Moreover if this idea seems feasible we can request traderji to have a logo on the investment school section of the same website saying something like "Powered by Traderji.com" or in association with. Although these are some far looking statements but would really request you guys to pour in your thoughts.

P.S. Guys just give it a try, speak to 100 people around you about forex, mf's, stocks, commodities and how to trade in them, techniques.etc and judge the quality of their knowledge you would be so very sad.. only 10% of the people are investment savy.. others are not.

Remember well traders and speculators are most greedy individuals in general and trading is a competation and not a team sports, imo no one disclose a true working methodologies to trade i am not refering to classical TA or FA stuff you find on google

So my conclusion this thing cant be implemented pratically

Knowledge must be given to people who desire and "deserve"!!!

If you have desire and you deserve the information, lots of members here are like the above mentioned NOT-FOR-PROFIT organisation!!!

They guide you, they help you, they always scold you and will always crack bad jokes on you

As far as my experience till now there are only a few written down things! And that too obsolete and blunt.

It is a trader who need to make himself into a trader.
And it is an investor who should work on his skills himself to rake moolah to toilet

Concerning my experiences in the forum and the friends and people I was able to talk, there are a lot of persons who can and will help you. These people are busy with raking the moolah...So at free time they come to chat room(here and at a secret place(ppl deserve will get it AFAIK))

People who want to learn must learn rather than expecting baby sit from the ones who are busing with their GF`s on phone even after sapping all the brain in the effort to make a living!!!

So my humble request to fellow boarder who want to start an organisation is to assemble some learning groups online or learn on your own!!!

BTW...There are lot of institution that take online and off line coaching(of course paid!!!) for people who want to get themselves baby sit!

I think I got myself wrong somewhere... hey I dont want to learn neither am I requesting anyone to teach me... infact I want to teach... i Think and believe I know a lot and now is the time I start speaking that out... If you see forums are a discussion place where you converse and talk but they never hold your hand and teach you to walk or lets say they dont baby sit. They are a beautiful source of information but they are not structured. You know firstly investments as they say is a boaring subject and people hate to learn or even read about it... This is same as you cannot be a bird but still you wished you could fly. I am not saying I can make you fly; yes but I surely can teach you how to fly and take you till the end of the cliff... And the people out there are completely newbies they will never search or learn if they have to spend a lot of time searching for things... this is the thing i want to cut out.

I am not against forums or anything buddies but yes i really wish the same information which takes me 7 days to learn can be learnt in 1hour so that the remaining 6days and 23 hours and spent discussing the same on beautiful websites like traderji !!

I already have the website up and running sorry could not give anyone the link for it as i really dont want to publicise it yet and that would be against traderji's rules... i would say infact 20% of it is already designed.. I want to share a lot. help a lot...and i think this website would be the best medium for all newbies a one stop show for structured information !! You come you become a baby and learn... and then fly off to some excellent forum and sharpen your skills. This ways one will make sure that now atleast you are interested in the subject.. polishing it is entirely upto oneself.

kuriako you are absolutely right buddy those who have the desire to learn will succed but what about those who don't??? I as a child always wanted to learn but didnt know where to start from. When I wanted to learn equities I used to search for days to find what I wanted, when I wanted to learn forex I searched for two weeks to come accorss forexbastards and others and yes that was all via some or other forums only.... But why should everyone suffer the same. Yes they will learn searching skills but that time could be put to use more productively.... I agree there are indeed a lot of institutions out there who will be willing to teach at a cost but in the end that money is going in the same pockets again and again. I am not competing with any website or anyone I just want to say thankyou to eveyone...

Teach people earn money teach more people it doesnt matter to me if i have to spoon feed even I am happy so long as I am making a difference.. You know even if one person starts following the dummy portfolio or completes a course at the school i would be more than happy and say yes I have fullfilled my dream purpose of giving something back...

Hey this is great. Now a days where do you find people who are are selfless enough to share the knowledge they have learned. You have all my support for your noble gesture. Please set up the website and let us all know. There will be so many members here who will bless you for this kind gesture. Learning is a never ending process. Nobody can say I have mastered everything. So even the experts will also have something to learn from your web site.

They too are 'profit' oriented totally as everyone is.
If one makes a profit then another must make a loss.Yes, it is the 'retail' investor who must take the loss eventually.
If the 'retail' investor cannot know what they are upto then how can he beat them??
Knowing 'TA' & 'FA' & 'Chart Patterns' is not enough.You have no statistical indicators to fathom what goes in their minds.
