Kind Attention : Seniors

didn't sqare off the trade, still holding
RPL and RCOM .
how much time it will take to recover
Hello A A

Don't fit into the category of seniors, just want to wish you luck, hope you get good advice and guidance you are seeking.

The situation you are in is quite commonly described in trading literature, more so in anecdotal exchange of trading experience by traders.

Holding on to the loosing position may eventually lead to a situation where one cannot service the M2M calls from the broker anymore, and is forced to square the position. Its a folklore that this is the very point/area where the market turns, referred to in the literature as capitulation.

There is a saying about Stop Loss, it goes something like this. Be Very Quick in taking your Stop Loss, or Never At All. I guess Never at All is not really an option for traders like us with finite resources.

Whenever there is a rule, there is an exception, I sincerely hope your current situation will be an exception and not go by as described in the above scenario.

Hope you can put the weekend to good use and can calmly take a strategic decision.

Best Luck

Thanks

Plz tell me the short term target of RPL .
Got 2 Lot @ 283 and lost 5 Lac. how can i recover
Hi you seem to have bought almost at the top and as i can make out you are new to this trading arena.

So the first advice that i would like to give you is that dont try to venture into F&O space it is only meant for really experienced traders, buy in cash market only.

Secondly though fall in RPL has halted for the moment but i dont think that it has really reached its support levels. 182-186 would be a really good buy level and you will still have to keep a stoploss at 152 levels and remember buy only in cash

Buy an active put of below 210 and hold position for RPL, till expiry. If required carry forward your position.

Not guarranteed but enough chances arre there that you will get back your money by one month.
