Need Help Guys....

#1
Hi guys,

I am new to trading...
just started up through India bulls.....

Want to check few things ... any suggestions most welcome.....

1. How's the stop loss field used?If somebody can explain with an
illustration would be of great help....

Is it something like .. say i buy X at 100 Rs.. (currently is it is 102) now while making an request for sell , should i keep Stop loss price as 90 and sell price as 110??
or i have to make 2 seperate request for sell... 1 for sell at 110 and another to stop loss with stop loss at 95 and price as 90?
and only one of them would be triggered?

2. IF i do a short sell of A in cash mode(not intraday) at NSE, then is there any particular time limit where by i have to buy it back i mean how many days?? or the Exchange will recover by itself :( ?

3. Indiabulls had an option to convert the Intraday trade to cash trade, before squaring takes place? in this case are there two transactions performed?? Say for example i buy 1 share at 100 in intraday, and before market closure i wish to convert them to cash. That time the price is 95, when i wish to convert to cash. So whether my request would be executed as Sell at 95(Intraday) and then Buy in cash at 95.
or simply the mode will be changed from Intrday to cash at a price of 100, with brokerage for cash?

Thanks in Advance....

Regards
Nikhil

For an executed trade you can put a SL.
Any SL whether Buy or Sell the Trigger Price is the price when the scrip
traverse that price then only the mkt order price is executed, means for Buy
the trigger price is below & the mkt price above & for Sell order the trigger
price is above & mkt price is below.
The gap between mkt price & trigger price is normally little more than the
price difference of Bid & Offer.

For shares short sold ,other than the intraday option available in PIB the
s/w assumes you have it in your demat other than your indiabulls demat,
hence indiabulls has no headache to square it off ,so you will have to sq
off.
Plz dont use this option in your early trading days rather use the intraday
option ,otherwise the auction & its penalty may Hit you badly.
