VOLATILYTY INDEX was introduced in india last week....... it was started by CHICAGO BOARD OPTIONS XCHANGE IN 1993..... it helps 2 gauze the depth & xpected movement in the mkt & the sentiments...... a reading around 25 is comfortable ..... in 1998 , it shot to 45 during (LTCM) LONG TERM CAP MANAGEMENT crisis.. again to 45 during world trade center attack..... however as emerging mkts r more volatile by nature.....a reading around 30 can b taken as comfort zone.... rumours from the money mkt say that inflation may inch up 2 around 7.50 today......bulls , take care.....!!! rumours also say that if inflation does not cool down , govt may take drastic steps in commodity mkts by banning futs in most commodities......bulls , here also b careful..... MKT TREND: -V BULLISH ABV: 17775 CLOSE. PROFESSER 2 SANTAA..... PROF:tell me 5 water animals SaNTAA:fish PFOF:good,4 naam Aur batao.
