what is lighting power stocks on the bourses ?? its the Franchisee model that rekindles pvt interest in power distribution .... Handful of distribution zones r already offered, many more lined up ........ ................. How it works ???? Pvt franchisees take over distribution assets in an earmarked zone on lease. Operate it for a designated time fixed in contract, in lieu of a monthly fee. States selecting zones high on consumption, and with high T&D losses..... SMART BOYS....isnt it ???? |

AJANTA PHARMA....is rumoured to b setting up a sez @ aurangabad (WHERE world famous ellora , ajanta caves r located...)district in maharashtra....the work on which is xpected 2 start from 26th jan 2008. abt 25 foreign firms from US , EUROPE r said to b invited to set their shop here... the neighbours of this pharma unit r WOCKHARDT & VIDEOCON GROUP who r also setting their respective sez here apart from GITANJALI JEMS... __________________________________________________ __________- MORE ENERJY ??? Tata Tea is now the second largest player in the branded tea segment globally and has a presence in 40 countries. WINDFALL GAIN FOR TATA TEA in DEC QUARTER RESULTS to get reflected ... Tata Tea has sold its 30 per cent stake in US energy drink maker Energy Brands Inc (known as Glaceau) to Coca-Cola Company for $1.2 billion (around Rs 4,900 crore). The Tatas have booked a profit of $523 million (around Rs 2,100 crore). Tatas can save Rs 700 cr tax on Glaceau stake sale. .............. the counter was on fire 2day......... |
