Sarcasm amuses me a lot, and I found this thread feeds me a lot with it.
I totally agree that everyone (investor or trader) should read and understand “teaching man/woman to fish” thread.

aha....the great pitfalls of the great mkts r here....

bulls....when the going was good....no complaints....& when someone stole a small piece of bread......ikkks...........!!!
it took 11 sessions for the sensex to travel from 19800 to 21000 & just a punch to back...
these r the ways & one will have to leave with it like a good couple.
till v maintain abv 18850....these kind of blips will make a dent in the panic bulls horns....
where hard core bulls thrive , the bears r pounded for their pound of flesh...
REMEMBER THESE WORDS....ABV 18850....IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.....

Sensex ends down 380pts, Rel Energy drops 4% ............

Mirroring the weak trend in global markets, the Sensex opened with a huge negative gap of 171 points at 20,080. Unabated selling saw the index drift deeper into red as the day progressed.

The index tumbled to a low of 19,513 - down 738 points from the previous close - in late noon deals.

Aggressive buying at lower levels saw the index stage a significant recovery, and finally settle with a loss of 383 points at 19,868.

The market breadth was extremely negative - out of 2,840 stocks traded, 2,208 declined, 614 advanced and 18 were unchanged today.

INDEX SHAKERS...

HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications tumbled 6% each to Rs 1,576 and Rs 732, respectively.

NTPC slumped 5.5% to Rs 259, and BHEL plunged 4.5% to Rs 2,309.

Reliance Energy, DLF and Tata Steel dropped around 4% each to Rs 2,267, Rs 1,128 and Rs 819, respectively.

ITC and Hindalco shed 3.4% each to Rs 209 and Rs 191, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Maruti and Tata Motors slipped nearly 3% each to Rs 379, Rs 844 and Rs 749, respectively.

Reliance and ACC declined 2% each to Rs 3,098 and Rs 856, respectively.

for VID IND...2DAYS CLOSE...603
technically....its a HOLD ....only a CLOSE below 532 will alter the bullish outlook...
