![]() European markets improved last night, with varying degrees of gains, while the US indices fell. Asian markets are mixed with the Hang Seng down and the Nikkei up but little changed. The global short-term trend is either mixed, or down right now. This could lead to two-way moves here today. The FIIs bought $30.3 million of stocks on Tuesday, while the MFs dumped $3.2 million worth. The FIIs are averaging daily sales of $47.0 million over the last five sessions, and the MFs are selling at a rate of $17.5 million. European markets improved last night, with varying degrees of gains, while the US indices fell. Asian markets are mixed with the Hang Seng down and the Nikkei up but little changed. The global short-term trend is either mixed, or down right now. This could lead to two-way moves here today. The main global indices are still in intermediate downtrends despite the strong rallies. Most major global trends remain up. The Dow fell 76.08 points (0.57%) to 13,231.01, and the NASDAQ composite went down 29.33 points (1.10%) to 2,644.32. |
