Smile Traders and investors fleeced again! ( todays crash)

hi,

The same old game has been played again !

govt, issues a direction

people sell ( & lose ) in anticipation of a super bloodbath

Govt issues clarification on it.

market's immedg rebound on the news

winners : people see govt' as an action packed govt, immedg took action to protect investor wealth.

Fii's and hni people : they get to buy the same stock at hugely low prices, and make huge profits in a matter of seconds/minutes/days.

Loser's : average investors who's heartbeats work with sensex, it goes up, he's happy, it goes down, he goes in shock

Comments: welcome

I've bought none today, as you would remember by my thread in begineers guide, diary of a day trader, even though i lost some huge money making opportunities today, but i was stuck in my last trade of 90 RNRL & 50 SAIL shares, so i did not trade, my maximum limit to delivery that i could afford was achieved,( my broker was happy to lend me exposure worth lakhs,bu ti resisted temptation) so it's better to have an opportunity lost than to take risk at this stage.

as it's said in buisness:
first rule of business is : protect your investment!

i don't know if some of you would say what i did was right or not.

so looking for some advise from seniors.

so i am definately looking for some opinions now.

What is basis of your stock selection. Though, SAIL and RNRL are good choice but forum would be delighted to know the basis of selection.

well coz i was stupid,

i chose shares which were already at their life high's only because they were constantly in blue... but isn't that how most of out people choose stocks....

btw, i most of the time choose powergrid is becasue is a new issue, and it is not a supervolatile share like some other's and it does not get stuck most of the times, and is slowly gaining value ever since it's listed, and it has huge volumes.

What was buy price of SAIL and RNRL. If you would have not bought at very very high price, I am confident that you will definitely gain from these stocks very soon.
As per me also Powergrid still has more power to match the price of NTPC. You may be aware Powergrid has been demerged from NTPC only. I got the allotment of Powergrid and sold at 105 but could not get the chance to re-enter.
