Look Raj i am not averse to shorting, only point i am stressing is that what we are facing is a TSUNAMI of stock markets anyone who plunges with a view whether long or short will really be put into acid test now, all i am going to do is just see how this month end and wont participate in market in whichever direction it goes

I am a little risk averse trader, my method does not allow me to loose more than 5% a month and i have already lost good 8% this morning, so no more trades for me this month

I humbly want to know who actually is trading in this volatile situation in f&o ,mostly watching the screen.

SAFETY of capital is 1st priority as prabhajeetrana says,absolutely right ,wait out plz for few days.

Biggers always finds a way to correct market ( sitting togethe or sleeping together)...one or another way..........if it's not p-note then ould be something else.

watch your screen if market stays open.

FM says that look whose buying its the FII's. Sure those guys will buy they are net short so they raking in the moolah. Another thing not all of the money coming though PN's is illegal some of it is but there is also a lot of money that is legal and had just come in through that route as its convenient so not all that money will go some of it will just come in again at a lower level through more acceptable means. And then how are you going to control your currency? To cut things short, just so that Infosys and other IT majors can continue to beat their earnings estimates the retail investor is getting squeezed.

Me n some of my team (total 30 ) has taken long position on Nifty at the avg level of 5301, lot of 50, total lots bought 120 (by all of us).

Target 5350. Sqing off within day end.

Sq off at 5339 avg, revised target.

total profit : 50*120* (5339-5301) = 228000..not bad in such a day

I m sorry If i took it wrong. Yes I would agree 10% fall for the overnight is really effective. Even last few days market short up similarly.

Very interesting to see that Market recovered very fast. Its really affected the common man for sure. Even the recovery is not worthful for people whose SL is hit.

Ashish, what do u do normally in such type of situations. Since u r a veteran, you must have gone through lot of phases this kind.

My system made me go long only above 5501.10, exited at 5570...
