my first day on option trading.

hello friends,

since 2002, this is my first day in option trading. but i have some confusion about my actual profit/loss. i bought 1 lot (2062 shares) gujrat ambuja cement call option @1.25 & sold it @2.40. now my booked profit is showing +2371. but someone just told me that my profit will be vanished after deducting the brokerage. can you please help me about this. i am using sharekhan.

query get solved. just got the connection of my rm. he told me that i will be charged rs.100 for buy & rs.100 for sell side. total 200. but i still cant believe them until i see my contract note. thanks.

Your RM Is `Correct In His Estimation, One can Even Exit Positions With .25ps Difference To Make Profit.

Congratulaions! You Have Done Very Well Considering Today Was Your First Trade In Options.

query get solved. just got the connection of my rm. he told me that i will be charged rs.100 for buy & rs.100 for sell side. total 200. but i still cant believe them until i see my contract note. thanks.

One more thing,sharekhan I believe charges 100rs for intraday square off,if u carried it the brokerage will be different.

No trolling pls.

I believe the total broker charges should be around 254 including taxes. I believe the maximum that can be charged per lot is rs 100 if I m not wrong.
THANKS TO ALL FOR HELPING ME. AND RAJESH YOUR CALCULATION IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. THEY DEDUCT AROUND 250 RS. FOR THE TRADE.
