What is Exit Short Position

Can anyone please explain me various basic terms used in trading.

if someone short sold shares in the market ,one exits the market by buying the same number of shares to squre off.

Hi dear Sagar ,.

Few of the terms i can tell u here ...

Enter Long --> Buy ( place a new trade )
Exit Long --> Square off your buy trade placed earlier.
Enter Short --> Short Sell ( place a new trade on selling side , remember its not squaring off the long position )
Exit Short --> Square off your short sell trades placed earlier. ( dosnt mean to place a new buy trade. )
