find diff quote at icicidirect

Hi all,

I am using ICICI Direct. But i found a strange thing. I just came to know that the icicidirect.com is showing different quotes for the stock i want to sell. I wanted to just check the current price of the stock and then sell it. but found that the stock is showing 1 to 2 Rs less than the actual price at NSE as well as BSE. i check with all other sites like hdfcsec, indiabulls , valueresearch etc. the value is same at all other sites but icici shows different in it's dmat allocation??

can somebody explain why so??

I agree with you totally . Perhaps ICICI Direct are making few extra bucks , in this manner . After coming to know this , I have closed my ICICI Direct account .

ICICI Direct wont change . They never consider about customers . They want their bag to be filled with money by all means . The best thing is to close the account with them and do a research about other brokerages and do with them.

it may be due to slow server speed of icicidirect.

well the thing is that the the orders will be executed according to NSE quote and bid/offer, not according to ICICI. So forget the rates by ICICI check at NSE website or Live terminals and then place orders.

i wish to point out that when i traded on ICICI direct .....few times i found out that the buy's were at prices higher than day high's shown at NSE.

these people are trying to make extra moneys by fleecing their customers .

i too noticed this discrepany and this has been happening for the past one week. perhaps they are upto some dirty tricks ,who knows.

Major problems ae ssen in margin positions are where share are always traded at higher or lower prices.

these are cheater. i also closed the account with them and started trading with hdfcsec

ONE SMALL EXAMPLE

ICICI DIRECT => SENSEX 17177.27
------------------NIFTY 5012.6

SHAREKHAN =>SENSEX 17150.56
NIFTY 5000.5

Now sharekhan is showing correct thing and y after closing has been done its taking such a long time.....to update...:x
