Take It From Me, There Is Nothing Like The Best Intra-Day Indicator.

Whatever Indicator One Chooses To Work With, One Has To Get Comfortable With It Over A Period, In The Process The Indicator Will Reveal A Lot More Once You Decide & Work With It Over A Time.

If You Are Serious About Making Up Some Of Your Losses, Then My Suggestion Would Be To Go Through Some Of The Threads Here & Keep Track Of How They Perform Before Jumping Into Actually Trades, Thereafter Learn How To Protect Your Profits With A Trailing Stop Loss.

There Is An Excellent Post By Saint Regarding Trailing Stop Loss.

You Will Need To Ask Saint, Cause I Don't Remember In What Thread I Read About It.

Do Not Be In A Hurry To Recoup All Your Losses In A Very Short Time.

Introspect, Think, Read, Understand, Plan & Execute.

An indicator is a tool in the hands of a technical analyst, it indicates something, now that something depends on what you are looking for, there is no such thing as the best indicator as such, focus your energies towards understanding yourself, what are your goals, what is your time frame, your capital, plan in utmost detail towards achieving that goal, learn all you can put your hands on this subject, test things, you will discard indicators which work best for others but not for you, not because the indicator is useless, but because your goals are different than his...thus you can chose your best indicator/system/money management and risk mgmt.

I have found best indicators are Bolinger Bands and RSI. I use these with 5 min. charts for intra-day trading.

As someone else has suggested, try for a week on paper trading using the above and once you reach a certain comfort level, try actual trades.
