Hello Everyone,
I have a question with buying stocks on icicidirect portal. When I do place a buy order for some BSE listed stocks on icicidirect( I use the correct icici stock code) I get the following message "You can not buy this scrip". Are there any particular category of stocks that could be bought through icicidirect? If i need to buy the above stocks through icicidirect, is there any way possible? Thanks a lot for help and suggestions. Regards; Shankar |

Dear Shankar,
I think ICICIdirect is not supporting trade for all the stocks listed on BSE. I am also using this portal and got this message. Stocks we are trying to buy may be not actively traded in BSE and hence not supported by ICICIdirect. You may write to their customer care about them and they will tell you the exact reason for the same. Another thing I would like to share that orders already feeded before market opening and or just after opening it takes atleast 5 to 10 minutes for execution which makes the situation very critical. You are seeing the price which suits you for your buy or sell but you can not do the same. |
