Need help on : BTST

Hello,

I am new to Traderji forum and new to stock market also. I recently opened the margin trading account.

I need the help on BTST. I am not sure whether I should post this topic in this section.

Today I purchased Reliance energy shares on delivery basis, thinking that I can sell it tomorrow under BTST option. Now I just gone thru icicidirect site, there it is saying that if we purchase the stock on cash delivery basis, we need to wait till the stock is coming to demat account then only we can sell.

I want to know whether I can sell the shares tomorrow. Anyone can help.

Most Big Brokerages Allow BTST Ofcourse There Is A Risk Incase You Do Not Get Delivery Before Your Settlement Is Complete, In Your Case, If You Have Bought It Today Then Your Settlement Would Be On Wednesday.

Incase Of ICICI Direct Cannot Comment.

Yes Reliance Energy (ICICI Code : BSES) is in BTST list. You will be able to sell tomorrow. It will be in BTST for 2 days & then will go to your Demat A/c

Chk under Trading -> Security Projections. The stock should be listed there with a 'BTST Sell' link on the right.
(Also, if you haven't done so, check the order book to make sure the trade has been executed in the first place. There were gap-ups in a number of stocks today.)

FRIEND ASK YOUR BROKER ... TO GIVE THE LIST OF BTST

GEOJIT AND INDIABULLS HAVING MORE THAN 300 STOCKS BTST

I ALWAYS PREFER BTST STOCKS....
