stock buy - large quantity - views required

Hi All,

Can some of the experienced member please let me know, is there any kind of problem in buying stock in large quantity or we should buy in chunks.

1. 5L in one go
2. 1L + 1L + 1L + 1L + 1L

which option is better 1 or 2.

I am asking this in terms of Income tax....

if some thing is confusing please let me know.

I don't believe a different exists if you are treating income from shares as capital gains.

Any other opinions would be helpful.

Any transaction above 50k is monitored and in the cross check list of IT People. Nowadays since almost all transactions are to be shown in returns due to compulsion of PAN, hence no issues in buying large IF you are disclosing all. If not - keppy qty less than 50k in one go
