In general , it is a good idea to buy a scrip on the exchange which has the highest volume. liquidity is very very essential. what is the point if you want to sell and there are very few buyers there. with a stubburn bids. secondly under very low volumes any one with a few lakhs can manipulate a stock price, so i always look at volume (nse is better) for most stocks. that's just my point of thinking , may be right or wrong

Look Swagat There's No Need To Get Rude. I Am Not Trying To Explain Arbritrage, I Have Also Read Many Books On Arbitrage

I Will Try To Explain U With An Example What I Am Talking
About 6-7 Months Back I Saw Eletrosteel Castings Quoted At Around 510 On Nse, I Checked Its Price On Bse Which Was 440 I Suddeny Realized That It Was A Mismatch Of A Price And Was Highly Abnormal So I Shorted 20 Shares Of Est On Nse At The Price Of 510 Intraday And Was Easily Able To Square My Position At 450 Levels

This Is What I Was Trying To Say
