Playing with Nifty for intrady/BTST works on influence of world markets more than technicals, I believe.
As I dont remain fully active during market hours, I won't be able to track them fully. So I am not adament to give intraday calls for nifty. When I will feel confident enough myself then only i will give the calls for nifty here. If my three predictions goes wrong consicutively, I will close this thread. dev mookerji Last edited by Dev Mookerji; 10th July 2007 at 12:22 AM. |

Nifty views:
1) Connect the yearly upper trendline from year 2000 to 2006. So stiff resistence is the area where nifty is trading right now. 2) Connect the monthly trend line from May 2006 & Feb 2007,again resistence zone is 4500 area. 3) Nifty is trading in a zone which is 423.6% retracement level of the correction happened in the year 2004. 4) 4520 is the level of 161% retracement level of May 06 fall. According to me there is two views :- (i) Nifty will correct from the 4500 level. (ii) Or if it is able to break the level of 4520 level it will be tremendous bullishness & My long term Nifty target 4900 will be achieved by this year only. Looking @ the index heavyweight IT stock' charts, I will go for my first view of correction. I will wait till Infosys result, if result are negative, I will go short Nifty above 4450 (best would be around 4480) with a SL of 4530. dev mookerji Last edited by Dev Mookerji; 10th July 2007 at 01:11 AM. |

Once again I am repeating my words.
Nifty is a good short around 4450/80 with a SL of 4530. As getting the top is never easy, I would suggest one can do sip. This is a positional call. People who trades nifty for 5/10 points not for them. dev mookerji Last edited by Dev Mookerji; 11th July 2007 at 11:56 PM. |

So many times I had repeated that my target for nifty in this rally is 4500.
http://www.traderji.com/99052-post114.html And after that I was expecting corrections. One may argue that why did I told guys to short nifty @ 4580 levels? I have explained the reasons for that as getting the top is never easy so to doing SIP. Also strongest world market has definately influenced our markets. Two% gain in a single day in most of the world indices is not a regular phenomenan... Any way, as I had a call I must give feed back for current scenario. Inrespect of gain or loss. If anybody have short position, following my calls. Maintain SL as 4530 by closing. There are no rule that every anlyst or ur every trade will be correct & profitable. We must accept that market is the king. dev mookerji Last edited by Dev Mookerji; 13th July 2007 at 07:46 PM. |
